For your convenience, we offer a virtual classes for every stage of your growing family. We also understand that every family is unique and offer private help, both virtual and in person, tailored to your specific needs.
Dogs and Storks
- Preparing families with dogs for life with baby. In this class, we’ll cover:
- Body language: Understanding your dog’s signals
- Dog sensitivities: Helping your dog adjust to changes (both upcoming and current)
- Third trimester prep: Preparing for baby’s arrival
- Homecoming prep: Getting ready for the big day
- Supervision: Keeping your dog and baby safe together
- Inclusion: Involving your dog in this new chapter of life
Dogs and Toddlers
- Preparing families with dogs for life with toddlers. In this class, we'll cover:
- Body language: Understanding your dog’s signals
- Supervision & inclusion: Activities for child and dog (with adult help)
- Communication differences: Canine vs. human/toddler
- Expectations: What to expect from baby and dog interactions
- Incident response: Steps to take if supervision lapses and an incident occurs
Dog Aware® Skills
Keeping kids and dogs safe in homes.
In this class, we'll cover the four skills to become Dog Aware®:

Proximity
Supervision

In addition to assisting our veterinarians with behavior appointments, Tiffany is a Family Paws Pet Parent Educator™ and she loves talking about keeping kids and dogs safe! She is a Fear Free Certified™ Professional Elite and is a Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner (KPA CTP) with the goal of becoming a Veterinary Technician Specialist in Behavior. She also has a special interest in beef cattle as she showed steers growing up.
