Meet Our Team of Dedicated Trainers
Each of the Pet Education Center trainers has a unique background that influences their personal training style. As members of our Behavior Clinic family, they are also keenly aware of normal and abnormal behaviors, the human-animal-bond, body language, use of prevention and management techniques, and they know when you need more help beyond training!
Lizz Otero, KPA CTP
Lizz is a Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner and has been part of The Behavior Clinic team for 5+ yrs. She runs all levels of our puppy classes, provides private training services and is excited to offer new classes through the Pet Education Center.
She has an animal science degree from the University of Findlay and when not helping others with their pets, enjoys hiking the Metro Parks with her good boy Onix.
Sarah Karr M.A. (Biology)- Sniffy Class Instructor & K9 Sports Coach
Sarah is a past TBC client and fellow training geek! As an Australian Cattle Dog owner, she especially loves wild and crazy dogs. She participates in Scentwork, Dock Diving, Barn Hunt, Herding, Conformation, and pretty much any other dog sport you can think of. She enjoys working with other species as well and runs a fiber farm, Roving Acres where she can be found holding Lamb Camp in the Spring for families to learn more about lambing and lamb care. She hopes to complete her KPA CTP in the future.
